DOSS, Alonzo - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Alonzo Doss, age 69, died at his home in Veedersburg Wednesday morning about 3 o'clock. He had been in ill health for the past 3 or 4 years and died of complications after a stroke of paralysis several months ago. Mr. Doss had been a resident of the Veedersburg community most of his life, and was born November 2, 1874, the son of Alonzo and Lucetta Bush Doss. He is survived by his wife, Nortie, and three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Grady of Veedersburg, Mrs. Pauline Wagner of Newark, NJ and Mrs. Wandaline Diehl of Hammond. Also surviving are two grandchildren. The body will remain at the Parham Funeral Home with burial in Osborn Prairie Cemetery.
